So why does your car overheat in traffic but not on the highway?
The answer usually comes down to one thing:
👉 At highway speeds, your radiator gets constant airflow.
👉 In traffic, your fans become the only thing moving air through the radiator.
That’s where traditional ON/OFF fan setups can struggle.
A relay can only tell your fan one thing:
RUN 100% or TURN OFF.
But cooling demand isn’t always 0% or 100%
