But in all seriousness, this competition was amazing! We were the 1st round pick of the second alliance, along with FRC 9245 Dreadnoughts and team captain . Thanks to for hosting the Big Bang competition this summer!!

Finally, last but absolutely not least, we have Liam, the President!

“Wow. I never thought that when I first joined this team it would be this fun, exciting, or successful. These past few years have been outstanding and hands down one of the best parts of high school. From time in the lab and staying up way too late at home to competitions and then staying up way too late at hotels I have created some of my best memories and best friends. I am especially grateful to all the coaches and alums I have had the most pleasure of learning from. Thanks to you guys I have gone from a dumpster fire (2022 paper plate award) to something better I hope (we will have to see at the banquet this year). Now I want to leave you guys with this quote from Jeremy Clarkson, “Speed has never killed anyone. Suddenly becoming stationary, that’s what gets you.” This team has risen leaps and bounds in the past few years, so keep up the improvement, even if it doesn’t seem like much. Im not expecting Einstein’s next year but never just stop improving, stopping is what gets you. (Just remember improvement isn’t based purely off of rankings) (Also, I am not opposed to seeing the team on Einstein’s, that would be pretty cool). - Liam ‘24 President of the robotics team”

I am honored to have been a member of the team this year. This team has done absolutely phenomenal this year, setting team records left and right that we didn’t even think possible. I am so proud of each and every member of this team, whether you’ve been here for years or this was your first year, everyone contributed to the team and it truly shows. I want to give a special thanks to all the coaches, mentors, and parents this year for making this season so special and supporting us along the way! You all have made robotics feel like a second family to me, and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. To my fellow seniors, Joe, Liam, and Dan, thank you for making this season so enjoyable and filling it with so many memories and making robotics more than just about the robot. We truly couldn’t have done it without you guys. To current and future Robocubs, continue to make it known that the Robocubs are not a team to be messed with. “This team has been an amazing 4 years. It has been remarkable to see the development in the team and the people on it as I have grown from a young freshman to a senior. I am proud to be both the driver for the past two years and a part of the most successful season on the team. I look forward to what the future holds and where the team evolves from here. A special shout out to the mentors and all the work they put in, staying late to help us finish the robot. This is the end of my chapter in high school, but the beginning of so much more.”

Robocubs made team history at Worlds! We finished 14th after all 10 Qual matches with a record of 7-2-1. We ran into issues with our camera system early during the day, but our outstanding pit crew was able to get it fixed in time for our last couple matches! We had an amazing time at the 2024 Wayne State District Event! This is the third year in a row we’ve won! We hope to make it a fourth next season! Great job to everyone who competed, it’s y’all who make the event fun. We won the “Innovation in Control” award, “Speed Demon” award from team 7769 The CREW, and finally an award of “Special Congressional Recognition” from MI congressman, Shri Thanedar. Go Cubs!!! 🐯🦾

We had so much fun at the FIM Milford Competition! We were the first pick of the 8th alliance with and and also won the Innovation in Control Award.
