Today marks an important milestone in our patient led journey at Alerje. After years of building award winning technology and securing 13 patents, we have officially transitioned our epinephrine device asset to SemPresto, Inc 🎉! This honors the legacy of a product that began as a deeply personal solution and places it with a world class team that has driven more than half a billion dollars in fundraising and exits.

Alerje continues on. This transition reflects the direction we have been moving for the past few years as we shifted our focus toward the FAIT platform and the future of collaborative, connected food allergy care. Our mission to improve outcomes for families remains as strong as ever. What is evolving is how we deliver that mission, and this next chapter positions us to move faster and with greater impact through software and real world implementation.
We are grateful for our team, investors, partners, and for recognitions from CES, the National Science Foundation, state leadership, and others who have supported this work. We are energized for what 2026 holds!

It’s been a while since we’ve posted here, but we’ve been busy behind the scenes and it felt like the right time to check in!

We made a brief appearance at the Annual Meeting, reconnecting with friends, meeting new colleagues, and sharing how our work at Alerje continues to evolve. From early food allergy prevention to smarter allergy management, it’s all about keeping families safer and life simpler.

Grateful for the energy, alignment, and momentum coming out of this one!

Alerje has officially received its 14th issued patent, our first software based IP! US 12380979, covers our integrated system for food allergy immunotherapy monitoring combining connected devices, physician dashboards, and personalized treatments. Statistically, less than 60% of software patents get granted, so this milestone speaks volumes about what we’re building! A special shoutout to everyone involved over the years, this one was hard earned. 🥜🧪📱
