TRAVELING COMMERCIAL ELECTRICIAN
We are a rapidly growing company and we are looking for experienced electricians to grow with us!
Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job, electricians must be first and foremost responsible individuals with great attention to safety precautions. The ideal candidate must be experienced in different kinds of electrical devices and systems. Typically, this is a 50-hour work week. This is a night shift position.
Responsibilities:
Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
Skills
Read plans and one line diagrams and be able to test on blue print reading
Install : lighting contact panels, and understanding of how to terminate Novar system high volt side
Installation of switch gears and panel boards
Installation of conduit per NEC code
Ability to manage your time and others to help bring projects in on time
Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out
Troubleshoot electrical issues
4 years prior experience
Experience in commercial electrical work
Ability to read multiple different styles of blue prints
Valid Driver's license
Must have a reliable vehicle
Enough OJT to test in other states
Walmart Electrical remodel experience is a plus
