I hadn't ridden the XR for over a year, increased mortality awareness on my part. Pulled it out to photo for sale, and wondered... So I turned the fuel on and saw some flowing through the filter, pulled the choke, re-learned the kicker/compression release, and she fired right up! Aired the tires, went for a ride. Stopped at the corner for fresh fuel, blasted across the big field, and rode it four more times that weekend. :-) 😀😃🙂 And thought 'Just one get-offa this bad boy is gonna leave a big mark', so the sale progressed and it has a new home. Time waits for no man.

Zac brought his lightly wrecked CBR1000RR in for restoration. We're already swamped, so I coached him through the effort and provided some tech assists. He worked through it diligently, and we were thrilled with each milestone achieved: electrical live, fuel pump replaced and active, starter cranking, first start, first ride, ALL that body work!
Congratulations to Zac on a job well done!

1975 Harley SX-250 back on the road! A real treat just to lay hands on one of these scarce Aermacchi two strokes. I remember when they came out, checked out and passed on a mess of one some years back, this one had extensive restoration a few years ago and came to life after a bit of a scare - my compression tester failed and showed zero! False reading, time for a new gage!

This is the FIRST bike I restored for a client, 18 years ago, 1975 CB400F SuperSport. Still awesome! Just refreshed with some brake, electrical, carb and misc work. Young helper Clint took it around the block for a taste of VINTAGE and is bringing it back to the shop.

Fresh rebuild, new crank on up. First start was GREAT! Crisp zinger, KX100

'78 KZ650 SR, came with pods and rejetted carbs, not running. Got it running, idled, but really rough, unbalanced feeling on the throttle. No wonder! After syncing the carbs, ZOOM ZOOM!!! The KZ650 fours are an all time favorite!

Scot's pleased with his refreshed '72 R5C, and I'm delighted it all came together so well. Carb work, new fork tubes for the front end rebuild, some paint, and an electrical conundrum which was overcome with elation! Hint: someone put 6V bulbs in the 12V system and that was NOT good!
Screamin' 350cc two stroke, light, nimble, brakes sorta adequate, FUN!
