POWER RESTORED – MAVERICK MOUNTAIN AREA

We’re happy to share that Vigilante Electric received the go-ahead from the Incident Command team to safely restore power to services in the Maverick Mountain area. Power was successfully reconnected at 1:00 PM today.

We want to sincerely thank our members for your patience and understanding while we worked closely with Incident Command to determine when it was safe to restore power. Keeping fire crews, emergency personnel, members, and the public safe was our top priority.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation as we worked to restore power as quickly and safely as possible. ❤️⚡

Our Thoughts & Prayers Are With Our Members

Vigilante Electric is keeping all of our members in the Polaris and Maverick Mountain area in our thoughts and prayers as they face the ongoing wildfire situation.

Our hearts are with everyone who has been affected, and we are grateful for the firefighters, first responders, utility crews, and everyone working tirelessly to protect our communities and keep people safe.

August 11th is National 811 Day—a great reminder that every digging project, big or small, should start with a call to 811.

You should call 811 before you:
- Plant a tree or shrub
- Install a new fence or fence posts
- Build a deck, shed, garage, or other structure
- Install a sprinkler or irrigation system
- Dig for a driveway, mailbox, or sign
- Do any excavation or digging on your property

Why is it important?
Underground utility lines can be closer to the surface than you might think—and you may not know exactly where they are located. Hitting an underground utility line can cause power outages, serious injuries, costly repairs, or damage to essential services.

Calling 811 helps ensure underground utilities are located and marked before you put that shovel, post-pounder, or excavator in the ground.

Starting with your August billing statement, you'll notice an updated look to your Vigilante Electric bill. While the appearance has changed, you'll still find all of the important account and billing information you need.
If you have questions about your new bill or would like help understanding each section, you can find a detailed guide in the August edition of Rural Montana Magazine or give our office a call.
