Currently working on a front porch/deck project for a customer in Mendota. Their previous contractor started the job but failed to finish. So we are getting them all squared away. 🫡🇺🇸

First 2 pictures are the former contractors failed attempt to set columns. After restarting the project for them I got the header for the overhang level again and added the correct amount of columns to support the weight and spaced them according to code. Framing is done and 99% of the deck boards are down. Finishing up the decking and stairs then onto handrailing and wrapping the columns. Stay tuned for the final result 💪🏻

Nice little 7’ x 12’ composite deck for a customer in Dixon. Ultra Deck Rustic Cedar decking, white vinyl handrails and some pvc skirting really flowed well on this one. 💪🏻

Before && Afters of a shingle over job in Dixon. Customer had some aged shingles that were in great shape just reaching the end of their lifespan. So with the rather outstanding condition they were in after 20 years it was not necessary to tear them off as Illinois state code allows two layers of shingles. To save the customer some money I went ahead and laid all new Owen’s Corning Oakwood shingles right over them. Tore off the old vent and Ridge cap and replace that with a new update updated Owens Corning vent as well as the matching cap. Now the customer can rest assured for the next 20+ years that their garage roof is A-OK! 💪🏻🫡🇺🇸
