Congratulations to two of our drivers Raymond Blackburn and Andrew Partin for both placing 2nd place in the Monarch Cement subsidiary Ready Mix Truck Rodeo Competition on March 2nd 2024 in Humboldt Kansas. There were a total of 17 competitors entered in the event. Both Raymond and Andrew missed 1st place by 15 points. Through the tie breaker Raymond Blackburn will get 2nd place and move on to the NRMCA National event held in Aurora Colorado in October 2024 and Andrew will be 1st alternate in case 1st or 2nd can not make the event. This was the 4th year for the Monarch Cement Company hosting this event and the 1st time Dodge City Concrete Inc. Had a driver qualify for Nationals and it also was the first tie for a spot to move on. We are VERY PROUD of both our employees for doing a great job and representing Southwest Kansas proudly !!
