⚙️ Pretty cool when an idea can become something you can actually hold in your hands!
This gear was 3D printed right here at Curtis Machine Company by one of our own team members so we can trial the design before moving forward with machining the actual part.
By creating a prototype first, our team can check fit, function, clearances, and overall design—giving us the opportunity to make adjustments before cutting steel.
But what we’re most proud of is the initiative and talent of our team. Finding better ways to solve problems, test ideas, and keep projects moving forward is what manufacturing is all about.

We’re back tomorrow! ❤️📚

After four days of attempting to “rest” (emphasis on attempting 🤣), we’ll finally be reopening tomorrow!

And we couldn’t have picked a better night to come back—Coloring Night is tomorrow evening! Grab your favorite people, unwind, color, sip something delicious, and spend a relaxing evening with us.

Oh… and while we’ve been away, we haven’t exactly been sitting still. We’ve been hard at work unpacking more than 150 new and used books that will be hitting the shelves throughout the weekend. There are so many great finds waiting to be discovered, and we can’t wait for you to see what’s new.

We have missed you all, and we are so excited to welcome everyone back through our doors.

Ever wondered what it takes to keep Dodge City running each day?

Engage Dodge is a free community education program designed to give residents an inside look at City government. Participants will tour City facilities, meet department leaders, learn about current projects, and discover how local government works through engaging presentations and interactive experiences.

This year's program will be held on:
- Tuesday, September 22 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday, September 29 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday, October 6 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Tuesday, October 13 | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Monday, October 19 | City Commission Meeting & Graduation | Beginning at 7:00 PM
