Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and packages in a safe, timely manner to their designated locations.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers or businesses
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided
- Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- Maintain the vehicle in good working condition and cleanliness
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Skills:
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Ability to load and unload items safely
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and be able to roll drums
- Familiarity with different types of vehicles such as tractor-trailers, box trucks, or vans
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus
- Proficiency in operating forklifts is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients during deliveries
