This sweet homeowner called us in a panic... They thought their entire living room floor was caving in, and they were right! Once we got in there and started looking underneath the existing floor, we discovered that not only was the subfloor rotten and crumbling, the floor joists themselves were also rotten and completely falling apart. This was caused from a leak behind their chimney and over time led to this. We stabilized the area and made it safe for repairs and then we fixed the chimney. We replaced all damaged floor joists, laid all new sub flooring and installed new LVP... And now it's as good as new!

💥THIS RIGHT HERE is why you hire a licensed, fully trained professional to handle all of your construction needs & repairs. Years ago they hired a "handy man" to repair their chimney, but really all he did was take their money and put a bandaid on the real issue... And as a result they were left with a HUGE problem that could have ended terribly if they had waited any longer to call us.
