Happy National Dog Day to our Kona! She's graced us with her companionship for over 13 years and has been THE BEST dog we have ever had the pleasure of having 💖She may have also been the most expensive with all of the most ridiculous surgeries and vet bills 😅

Funny/Not-so-funny story: She once ate a lot of rat poison & we thought we were going to lose her. After a week stay with the vet getting charcoal & fluids pushed through her, we brought her home with the worry that we were going to have to put her down. She wasn't our Kona. The lights were on but nobody was home. It was a scary time. At one point, we got her tennis ball out and you could sense that something clicked & our hope was restored. Within a couple of weeks, she bounced back & miraculously made a full recovery. ✨

Kona is now living a slower-paced life these days now that she's in her senior years. She sleeps every night in our son's bed & frequently visits the neighbor for popcorn. We will cherish her for as long as we can!

We just wrapped up a quick transformation on this front porch! We removed the old deck boards and replaced them with durable composite decking from Trex Company, sourced through The Keim Company.

We’re sure this homeowner will be enjoying plenty of shameless porch sitting in the future! ❤️🤍💙

Although a property may appear to be in good condition at first glance, the underlying reality was that these windows were improperly sealed, leading to significant air and moisture infiltration. Following the installation of professional flashing tape, trim, and quality caulking, our client can now enjoy improved energy efficiency and peace of mind as the cooler weather approaches. 🍂
