Sorry for the late update, but we’ve been hard at work over here in Leesville!

What started as a basement remodel quickly turned into a major plumbing and drainage project. The entire drain system under the concrete floor had to be excavated and replaced to allow for a new basement bathroom installation as well as fixing some of the existing lines that were unknowingly damaged. That meant cutting concrete, trenching through the basement, installing new drainage lines, tying into the main sewer line, and then pouring the floor back in once everything passed inspection.

Outside, we excavated down along the foundation to install drainage and waterproof a problem area where the future shower is going to be located. Once complete, everything was backfilled and prepared for the next phase of construction.

Since then we’ve made some great progress:
* New plumbing and drainage installed
* Basement bathroom rough-in completed
* Waterproofing completed
* Bedroom framing completed
* Ceiling drywall installed
* Wall drywall installed
* Drywall finishing started
* Shower and vanity/sink delivered and ready for installation

This project has involved everything from excavation and underground plumbing to waterproofing, framing, electrical, and drywall. It’s been a lot of work, but the vision is finally starting to come together and look like a finished living space.

Lake house upgrade in progress 🔨🚤💦☀️

We’re adding bedrooms and a bathroom to create more space for guests and make this home even more functional. Framing is underway and everything is starting to take shape.

Started the week with a call about siding coming loose. After taking a look, we discovered several mistakes from the previous installation. Water had been getting behind the siding and causing damage underneath.

What was supposed to be a quick fix quickly turned into a full tear-off down to the studs.

Now we’re getting everything properly sealed and rebuilt the right way.

Sometimes the real work is fixing what you can’t see.

A full fire restoration completed with care.

We were asked to come in and install all new drywall in this home that was completely destroyed by a fire. We came into a space filled with nothing but smoke and soot and when we left there was a home ready for a fresh start.
