PROJECT UPDATE! MILLWORK DETAILS
Next up is talking about trimming the windows and doors, where John meets his two friends “Jack Miter” and “Kreg Jig”! All the millwork is custom made using poplar and it’s the jack miter and the Kreg jig along with the beaded casing that make everything look and fit just right.

Check out these doors! Custom made and more than two inches thick, this is a good example of the advantages to setting things up in advance. All the hardware choices were made ahead of time, so the doors were able to be pre-mortised with the lock assemblies, and were finished and ready to go. John also talks trim, beaded casing, and more details on the windows throughout the home. With

Today we celebrate 29 years in business, and we are so thankful to our clients, our team, our vendors and suppliers, our colleagues, friends, and family, and all in the community who have helped Gemmi grow and thrive all these years. The relationships AND projects we’ve built are the bedrock of our values and mission. We love what we do, we and can’t wait to celebrate 30 years next year!
