Do you ever just miss "the station?" The various visitors throughout the day who would come and sit for a ice cold soda pop, or the regular customer who would come in for parts...

All day long, car after car would drive by and honk, many of them honking their horns the entire length of the building as they drove by. It wasn't literally "every single car," but periodically all throughout the day...

Some days... it'd be the most amazing thing to step back in time and experience Tennison's one more time. Dorothy pumping fuel, Charlie arriving at 2 p.m. saying "mornin" as though it's 8 a.m., Gary and Foutch working on an old car, Henry Jackson fussing about the 3 wheelers in Sunfield...

So many wonderful memories. Just one day...

Wow... talk about a little trip back in time, check out this picture of what most will remember the old blue Dodge tow truck to look like. This was the truck, right before the yellow Chevrolet.

The blue Dodge was extremely rusty, and would only be used from time to time on the road after the yellow Chevy was obtained. If you've ever went with Charlie on a run in the Dodge, you were faced with a view of the pavement from inside through the many holes in the floorboard. Soon, it would be relegated to yard use only, making runs to the junkyard, before being retired.

How many remember the tow trucks from Tennison's? Two are partially pictured in previous posts. Most will remember the old blue Dodge and or the yellow Chevrolet.
