Well well well look who decided to show up and step up her game! Mother freaking Nature…. Guess the jig is up we all thought it was spring time but not anymore.
Duck Creekers,
As of 5:15 AM, we had received approximately 11 inches of snow. With snowfall rates currently around 3–4 inches per hour, totals have already climbed to about 18 inches as of 8:00 AM, and it continues to snow heavily. We have 11” of snow down in Elk Ridge.
Today is shaping up to be a longer, slower, and more challenging day. The highway is only barely plowed, and conditions remain difficult across the area, including heavy snowfall in Kanab, Utah. Snowplow crews will be stretched thin, and passes through neighborhoods and roadways will be much slower than normal.
For your safety, we strongly recommend avoiding travel at this time. Conditions are expected to gradually improve as the day moves on, and crews will continue working as quickly and safely as possible. Make sure you and your guests download the UDOT app so you can see state road conditions.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while we navigate this significant storm together. Please stay safe and warm, and we will continue to provide updates as conditions change.
