On February 10, we were honored to host our ribbon-cutting ceremony, more than 20 years after founding our company. On this special day, we were joined by Lena M. Hernandez and Gaby Argoti-Fernandez from the Governor’s Office, who hand-delivered an official citation recognizing this important milestone and our achievements over the years.

We had a full house of vendors from companies such as CFG Bank , Pinnacle Bank, Sunbelt Rentals, Inc., United Rentals, Atlantic Pressure Washers, Lilly’s Printing , and many others.

Additionally, we were honored to have Bessy Blum, Chairwoman of the Metro Baltimore Hispanic Contractors Association , and Mr. Wayne Frazier The President of the Md. Washington Minority Companies Assocation (MWMCA) as our featured speakers for the day.

Lastly, we were grateful to see so many contractors and friends who came out to support us at this special event. Thank you to everyone who celebrated this milestone with us.

Pneumatic needle scaling and concrete surface profiling are two effective — but very different — surface preparation techniques. Understanding their differences helps ensure long-lasting results.

What Is Pneumatic Needle Scaling?

Pneumatic needle scaling (also called pin needle surface prep) uses compressed air to power a tool with multiple hardened steel needles that rapidly strike a surface. The action removes rust, loose paint, scale, corrosion, and contaminants.

The tool is powered by compressed air, making it ideal for job sites already equipped with pneumatic systems.

How It Works:
• Compressed air drives a bundle of steel needles.

Concrete surface profiling is the process of mechanically roughening concrete to create the proper surface texture (measured by CSP – Concrete Surface Profile) so coatings, epoxy, or overlays bond properly.

Unlike needle scaling (which is mainly for metal), concrete profiling is specifically designed for concrete substrates.

Common methods include:
• Diamond grinding
• Shot blasting
• Scarifying
• Mechanical abrasion
