Tragedy struck for us on Friday. As many of you are aware, we are a small family owned business. On Friday, we lost our 1733 historic home and all of our beloved pets. Phil was the only person home at the time. He was hospitalized for 2 days for smoke inhalation and observation, but has been released and is physically fine.

While we are grieving our losses and finding our way forward, please be patient. Phones may go unanswered. Email will be the best method of communication. We may be working odd hours (lots of things need to be addressed during normal business hours), we may be working shortened hours and focusing on getting lasers serviced rather than catching every phone call.

I love my work and each of our customers. We will be here doing what we do. We thank you for your patience and support as we navigate this unimaginable situation.

Trump’s tariffs are costing small businesses. As a small business owner, struggling to keep our prices low for our customers who are also mostly small businesses, I have already noticed increases and pricing changes on the goods we buy to keep our business running. This WILL have an impact. Yesterday it was relatively small. I bought $128 worth of fuses and the electrical wholesaler noted on my order that the estimated tariff costs would be $12.80. How is this helping America? If we pay a minimum of 10% more for necessary production parts, we will eventually have to raise our prices, which will harm our business as well as our customers. I believe this will result in the loss of valuable small businesses across the nation.

FASTER AND EASIER!

We are proud to announce that lead times on Universal and Synrad tubes* has dropped to about 1 week due to to improved workflow.

We used to charge extra to get an “expedited” 1 week turnaround. Now we are able to offer it to every customer at no additional charge.

(*Dual tube lasers, Synrad F-series, and Evolution lasers may take longer. Give us a call for specifics.)
