BP Consulting is a privately owned company based in Lafayette Louisiana. Founded by Bill Pool in 1995, it served as a consulting firm to assist drilling contractors with planning and ex*****on of high profile derrick installations in the Netherlands and Australia. employed a full time, six man crew of experienced derrick builders. By 2005 that number increased to twenty men including a welder and

helper in a newly opened fabrication shop. Today we employ teams of very experienced and highly regarded rig builders ready to take on the next project anywhere in the world. Our fabrication department has grown and we regularly manufacture and supply replacement/upgrade parts and safety products to our customers. We have a vast stock of equipment and tools to meet the challenges of erecting, disassembling, modifying or repairing any derrick in service today. BP Consulting is fully insured for both domestic and international projects. Policy information is available upon request.
