Today, our company has several primary divisions offering separate, yet complementary products and services in more than 35 locations. Interstate Companies, Inc, a privately held company, has been in continuous operation and based in the West, Southwest, and Midwest since 1957. It operates eight subsidiaries: I-State Truck Center, Interstate Power Systems, Interstate Bearing Systems, Interstate Tr

ansport Refrigeration, Interstate Industrial Systems, Insterstate Energy Systems, Assembly Systems, and Southwest Products. Interstate Power Systems continues to be an authorized distributor for Detroit Diesel Engines, Allison Transmission, MTU Onsite Energy, Carrier Transicold, Webasto, IMPCO APU and other product lines. At branch locations throughout our service areas, Interstate Power Systems serves a variety of industries, including on-highway truck fleets. Interstate Bearing Systems is a distributor of bearings and power transmission components and was originally founded as Barco Bearing, serving Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota. Headquartered in Minneapolis, Interstate Bearing Systems continues to expand to meet the diverse needs of the industries it serves and has gained a strong reputation for the depth of knowledge and experience offered to our customers. Full-service Interstate Bearing Systems locations may be found throughout our service area. Assembly Systems was founded in 1995 to serve the subassembly needs of original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and focused initially on the bus coach industry. Its capabilities have expanded significantly over more than 20 years, and Assembly Systems now offers a variety of fully-managed assembly for a variety of manufacturers. I-State Truck Center was created in 2003 by Interstate Companies, Inc., I-State Truck Center brings you the best. Rugged trucks and trailers, both new and used. Top factory-trained technicians. We are a franchised dealer and service representative for world-class products, such as Freightliner, Western Star, Thomas Built Buses, Isuzu, Sprinter and FCCC. This year, the Second Step Foundation donated a total of $300,000 in 30 markets across 14 states. Since 2014, the Second Step Foundation has donated a total of $1.8 million!
