Last night, we experienced one of our worst fears here at Mammoth Mill. A fire broke out nearby, and for a while, we were all in a state of uncertainty. But, in true community fashion, the response was nothing short of amazing. So many of you, our friends and neighbors, jumped in without hesitation, and we can’t express how deeply grateful we are.
A huge thank you to the dedicated fire departments and teams that worked tirelessly to keep us safe: Eagle Nest, Angel Fire, Black Lake, Red River, Moreno Valley, Wheeler Peak, Taos Fire Department, and Rio Fernando VFD. Your efforts were nothing short of heroic.
As new owners of Mammoth Mill, this business means everything to us, and last night, we came face-to-face with the reality of what could’ve been a devastating loss. But because of the unwavering support of this community, our town, our family business, and our hearts are healthy and safe today.
We’re incredibly lucky to be part of a community that shows up when it matters most. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 🙏💙
