Rough-in day on a new fireplace installation.

The team is on-site getting everything set before the drywall goes up. That includes the rough-in, the venting, and making sure everything is placed right the first time so there are no surprises later.

A lot of people don't realize we handle fireplace installs on top of all things HVAC. If it involves heat in your home, we do it.

Got a new build or addition coming up? Get us in early so we can do it right the first time.

Caleb also made sure Angela got her veterans' discount without being asked.

This isn't above and beyond for us. This is just the standard.

Thank you Angela for the kind words and for trusting us with your home.

Most people think a furnace tune-up is just a quick check, but it's not.

A proper tune-up is what keeps your system running when you need it, and catches the small problems before they turn into expensive repairs.

During a maintenance visit, we’re not just “looking things over.” We’re making sure your system:
- Starts and runs properly
- Isn’t overworking or wearing down
- Is heating your home efficiently
- And most importantly, is safe to operate

Because the issues that cause breakdowns or safety risks don’t show up overnight, they build over time.

That’s why regular maintenance matters.

If you want to avoid the surprise repair call later, this is where it starts.

Meet Robbie, our Service Manager.

Growing up in Alaska, Robbie has been around construction his entire life. He got into HVAC and plumbing 8 years ago and has been part of the Extreme Heating and Air team for the past 3 years.

Outside of work, Robbie enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and is a big fan of Thai food.

When he's not traveling, there's a good chance you'll find him at a Wolverines hockey game.

We're lucky to have you on the team, Robbie! 👏

Skipping maintenance doesn’t save money. It just delays the bill.

Most system failures don’t come out of nowhere, they build over time. Small issues get ignored, parts wear down, and then it turns into a much bigger (and more expensive) problem when you need your system most.

Preventative maintenance is what keeps those small issues from turning into major repairs.

Our Gold Care Program is designed to do exactly that. Regular checkups, catching problems early, and keeping your system running the way it should year-round.

If you’d rather avoid the unexpected repair call, this is how you do it.

04/24/2026

As temperatures start warming up, it's time to take a look at your pipes for any leaks or bursts.

When water freezes, it expands and builds pressure inside the pipe. That pressure sits there until things warm up. Once the ice melts and water starts flowing again, that pressure gets released, and that’s when pipes crack or burst.

This is the time of year we see a lot of these issues.

If you had frozen pipes over winter, keep an eye out for leaks, low water pressure, or damp spots.

If something doesn’t seem right, get it looked at before it turns into a bigger problem.
