It's the little details... Like not having to constantly turn off the pantry light behind the kids! 😂

On site doing a shooting today with Trophy Media Co. and just noticing the small things that make homes functional and convenient. ❤️

Mud, snow, wet boots, bulky coats… they’re all part of living in the Northwoods in the winter.

That’s why a well-planned entry or mudroom can make such a difference. Durable flooring, a spot to sit down and take off boots, hooks where you’ll actually use them, and enough storage for everyone’s winter gear can help keep the mess contained and make coming and going a little easier.

There’s so much to love about this combination of rich color, warm wood, and contrasting details. Deep green shower tile makes a statement, while the patterned niche and lighter floor tile add texture and dimension. Warm wood cabinetry and brass hardware tie it all together, creating a cozy, natural feel that’s right at home in the Northwoods.

The Casita Project is coming together! 🏡✨

With each detail, we're getting closer to bringing this space to life!

The boats may be coming out of the water, but there’s still plenty to love about lake season in the fall...

- Morning coffee with the leaves changing
- Evenings by the fire
- A quiet walk through the woods

When you picture your Northwoods home, which of these moments matters most to you?

When building a Northwoods home, we plan for the realities of every season, from wet boots and winter gear to shorter days and colder temperatures. That means thoughtful storage, plenty of natural light, cozy gathering spaces, energy-efficient choices, and outdoor areas that are just as enjoyable when summer returns.

Life here changes with the seasons, and your home should be ready for all of them.

Sometimes, the best opportunities come from the most unexpected places! 🐾

After more than a year of searching for a lead carpenter, an unexpected encounter with Alex’s family cat, Rocket, sparked a conversation that eventually brought Alex to Lakefront.

Two years later, Alex has become a valued member of our team, bringing craftsmanship, leadership, patience, and a strong work ethic to every project.
