BREAKING GROUND NEXT WEEK!

Eight new townhouses on Whitehead Avenue in South River. These two-bedroom, two-bath homes each have a private garage with an electric vehicle charging station and an outdoor covered patio.

All thanks to another developer for investing in the revitalization of the borough!

Coming soon to 25 Main Street...

A renovation of the historic South River Trust Company Bank building together with a modern 14-unit apartment building. This is another step towards the revitalization of South River's downtown!

Franklin On Main is coming soon to South River.

A local developer has been approved for a mixed use, retail and multi-family building at 60-62 Main Street. The building will have a new and expanded brick façade with two floors of apartments above the ground floor retail uses. The rear parking lot will be extended and a new parking lot will be provided at the corner of Obert and Washington Streets.

This is the first step towards revitalizing South River’s business district in accordance with the borough's master plan.

🏞 Walk within South River, New Jersey

A proposed walkway linking the eastern edge of the borough from the north to south ends. The walkway stitches together blue acre & South River Borough properties, as well as the abandoned rail line. It will reconnect the downtown with the riverfront, parks, and borough neighborhoods.
