At the time we built these pool houses, regulations prohibited the inclusion of a full kitchen and, in some cases, a full bath. Depending on the available land, their size may have been constricted as well. With the changes brought about by new guidelines regarding accessory dwelling units (ADUs), where once only a pool house was possible, a guest house with a full kitchen and bath may now be permissible.
