Extreme dust protection in place prior to hardwood sanding!

We love the look of a traditional hardwood floor. During kitchen remodeling, our team is often called upon to refinish or expand hardwood flooring. We recently refinished flooring for a friend when they were on vacation. The finish was water-based Bona Traffic HD in a satin sheen purchased locally from JR Hardwood Flooring Supplies.

We think it came out great!

We often take down supporting walls to give more space during a kitchen renovation. In this case, we had to pull down two walls 90 degrees to each other. No way to avoid putting in a post but it still made a huge difference in opening up the space

One of our favorite specialized tools is our infrared camera. We use it to check radiant heated floors hidden below tile along with cold spots in insulation or even water leaks.

We love remodeling kitchens. However, it is a special treat when we get to create a space for a great cook. A few years back, we did a project for the food editor of On the Water Magazine, Andy Nabreski. Our favorite part of his kitchen is our "Thermometer" Island shape which allow people to sit at the island in a circle. If you love seafood and cooking, definitely follow Andy as he creates great food from our local waters!
