On Wednesday, August 6, we had the honor of hosting United States Senator Richard Blumenthal at SKYRE to celebrate 15 years of SKYRE’s business accomplishments. It was an incredible opportunity to showcase our pioneering work in hydrogen recycling and CO₂ conversion.
We also had the pleasure of welcoming South Windsor State Representative Tom Delnicki, Small & Minority Business Liaison
John Barios, UConn Associate Dean of Research & Graduate Education Dr. Leslie Shor, UConn Assistant Dean of Administrative Operations and Strategic Initiatives
Kylene Perras, and UConn Northeast Utilities Associate Professor of Environmental Engineering Dr. Julia Valla.
During their visit, our guests toured SKYRE’s laboratory and manufacturing facilities, where they witnessed firsthand the incredible strides we are making in the realm of industrial productivity enhancements and green energy solutions. Our team engaged in insightful discussions, highlighting the immense potential our products hold for combating climate change and driving economic growth.
Senator Blumenthal and our other honored guests' interest and enthusiasm for our work was truly inspiring. In his remarks, the senator emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between the government and private sector to accelerate the deployment of transformative technologies. As he concluded his speech, the senator presented SKYRE founder & CEO, Dr. Trent Molter, with a Certificate of Special Recognition. It's clear that his vision aligns with our mission to create a greener and more sustainable future for generations to come.
