Last week, we had a successful AS9100/ISO9000 surveillance audit. This is our 26th year with an ISO system. Kudos to Tim and especially Chris for supporting our third party auditor, John.

To celebrate our 80th anniversary, HORST Engineering proudly unveiled a new lobby display honoring our history, our people, and the precision manufacturing that has defined our family business.

At the heart of the display is a battle-tested C-130 Hercules propeller and hub—representing decades of producing critical flight safety components for one of the world's most iconic military aircraft. The exhibit also celebrates the craftsmanship and collaboration of fellow family-owned businesses, City Bench and Kaswell Flooring Systems who helped bring this one-of-a-kind display to life.

Our annual Memorial Day picnic was another great success! Thank you to Alan Grant at Digital Creations, LLC for the amazing pictures. The team spent the afternoon enjoying food cooked by our managers, games, dessert, and beautiful weather.

We're proud to sponsor another UConn Management for Engineering and Manufacturing (MEM) Senior Design project. The 2025-2026 project is "Autonomous Part Tray Washing System".

Congratulations, and thank you, to the MEM 01 and ME 25 students and to our staff for the great work and collaboration on this project. We wish the students good luck as they graduate later this month and begin the next chapter of their lives.
