This National Food Bank Day, we’re celebrating the incredible work of Connecticut Foodshare and the many employees who volunteered their time throughout the year to help fight hunger in our communities.

This team has sorted thousands of pounds of food, showing up again and again with compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to giving back. Together, we helped provide meals for families across Connecticut and strengthened the network that keeps our neighbors fed.

Last week, President & CEO Frank Reynolds along with other leaders met with 55 high school students participating in the Energize Connecticut Green STEP Summer Certification Training Program to share career advice, personal experiences, and insights into opportunities across the energy industry.

Through programs like Green STEP, students gain valuable industry-recognized certifications, explore career pathways in energy efficiency, and build the skills needed to help create a more sustainable future.

Together, we're investing in Connecticut's workforce and empowering young people to make a lasting impact in their communities. 💡

💙 Making a difference together

Our team has been proud to support both Connecticut Foodshare and Columbus House through ongoing volunteer efforts.

Across three events with Connecticut Foodshare, we’ve now sorted a total of 19,092 pounds of food, helping provide 15,909 meals to neighbors in need.

Last time out: 4,395 pounds sorted → 3,662 meals provided

We’ve also continued our work with Columbus House in New Haven, spending time serving dinner to neighbors in our community and showing up with compassion and care; building connection and support face-to-face.

Thank you to our incredible volunteers who continue to give their time and energy for others!
