Plumbing problems aren't always visible—until you look a little closer. 🔎

While estimating a full interior rebuild, we inspected the plumbing system and discovered this bathroom vent stack terminated in the ceiling, instead of continuing through the roof like it should. 🚽

This kind of shortcut can cause long-term issues—from poor drainage to serious health and safety concerns. 🤢

On this lake house project, I used a wet drywall sponge to smooth out fresh spackle—no sanding dust, no mess, and no need to cover every square inch of furniture.🛋️

⚠️ Near miss (or near hit)!

While demoing for this bathroom remodel, we uncovered a nail that came dangerously close to puncturing an old copper water line.

Thankfully, the line was unused—left over from the previous tub setup—but if it had been active, it could have been a major disaster.

Whether you’re a contractor or a DIY homeowner, be careful when driving screws or nails into walls. You never know what’s behind them!
