Please join us in congratulating Levi Robinson!

We are excited to announce that Levi has officially joined RCC as a Project Engineer following his graduation from the State Technical College of Missouri, where he earned an Associate Degree in Civil Construction and Civil Engineering.

A native of Westphalia, Missouri, Levi developed a passion for construction through his love of hands-on work and seeing projects come to life. After interning with RCC from April through August 2025, he gained valuable experience working alongside project teams and trade partners while learning the importance of communication, collaboration, and continuous growth.

Levi chose to continue his career with RCC because of the people, the culture, and the strong relationships built throughout our projects. In his new role, he is excited to expand his construction knowledge, strengthen his leadership skills, and continue building meaningful industry connections.

When asked what high performance means to him, Levi shared:
"Completing the task you are assigned efficiently and thoroughly to ensure the highest quality results."

His favorite quote says it all:
"Success begins when effort becomes a daily habit."

We are proud to invest in emerging talent and even prouder that Levi has chosen to build his future with RCC. Welcome to the team, Levi!

The Summer Intern introductions continue! Please join us in welcoming Carson Lohrenz, David Arkebauer, and Conner Bidne to the Peoria Operations Team.

Meet Carson -
Carson is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management at Illinois State University, combining his passion for hands-on work with a strong interest in the construction industry.

What excites him most about his internship? The opportunity to experience different areas of construction firsthand, gain valuable knowledge, and connect with fellow interns along the way.

Carson is eager to learn, take on new challenges, and absorb as much experience as possible. His favorite quote, from Wayne Gretzky, reflects that mindset: "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

Meet David –
David is pursuing a degree in Construction and Facilities Management at Western Illinois University and is set to graduate in Fall 2026. His passion for construction stems from a desire to better understand the building process and discover ways to improve it.

What excites him most about his internship? The opportunity to apply what he has learned in the classroom to real-world situations, build on his hands-on experience, and continue growing professionally.

Outside of work, David enjoys staying active through sports, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. His favorite quote, from Richard Proenneke, reflects his adventurous mindset: "There is always a sadness about packing, I guess you wonder if where you're going is as good as where you've been."

Meet Conner –
Conner is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville majoring in Construction Management, with minors in Business Administration and Construction Safety Management. After job shadowing a family friend in the industry, he discovered a passion for construction and decided to pursue it as a career.

What excites him most about his internship? Working alongside the team, gaining hands-on industry experience, and contributing wherever he can.

Outside of work, Conner enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and making memories with friends and family. His favorite motto, "Treat today like there is no tomorrow," reflects his positive outlook and enthusiasm for making the most of every opportunity.

We're excited to have Carson, David, and Conner on the team and look forward to seeing them grow and succeed this summer!

A few of our team members spent Thursday afternoon shooting clay targets at the 3rd Annual Greater Peoria Contractors and Suppliers Association Clay Shoot. The event included multiple shooting stations, a reception, and an awards ceremony immediately following the competition. It was a great opportunity to network and socialize with others within the construction and supplier community in the Peoria area.

Thank you, GPCSA, for hosting another successful event!
