Yesterday, the Vigon Team shared some delicious food and great company. Everyone enjoyed a variety of scrumptious sandwiches and salads, served by Panera Bread.

A little friendly competition added a fun surprise to the event. Our "Guess how many candy bars in the jar" game got a great response. Congrats to Drew VanPelt, Maintenance Mechanic, who had the best guess and took home the prize! His accuracy was impressive. (His response was only one candy bar away from the correct answer.)

Last week, Vigon employees came together at an Azelis XCEL event to fill backpacks with school supplies. This week, we visited the J.M. Hill School in East Stroudsburg, PA to donate the 50 backpacks stuffed with supplies. We are excited to equip eager young minds with the tools they need to excel when they start school next week.

Kudos to the two Interns who worked behind the scenes to make this event a success: Natalia Cao, New York University, and Forrest Hellivan, Temple University. And thanks to Elika Almeida, founder of Youth Infusion, for helping us connect with the local schools. Her programs empower young people to develop leadership skills and use their voices to truly impact their communities and the world.

This summer we’ve had the pleasure of working with two fantastic interns, Natalia Cao, from New York University and Forrest Hellivan from Temple University. Both of these students embody the spirit of Azelis by embracing collaboration, curiosity, and a hunger for growth. We're excited to see how they continue to shine as they progress in their careers!

Internship programs provide a platform for students and young professionals to bridge the gap between academia and real-world applications. At Azelis, we believe in giving back to our community and creating meaningful connections to make the world a better place! Today, the Vigon team partnered with a local nonprofit organization, Youth Infusion, to fill 50 backpacks with essential school supplies for students in need. Education is a powerful tool, and by providing these supplies, we're contributing to a brighter future for these young minds.

We thank all the amazing employees at Vigon that participated today. To celebrate our success, everyone got a sweet treat from a local ice cream truck after the event. It was a great way to share some fun time together on a summer afternoon.

As part of OSHA's Safe + Sound Week, Vigon organized a gift basket raffle. Participants entered by reporting workplace hazards in the Safety Speak Up Challenge and participating in a Safety Scavenger Hunt which located safety features in the facility. This event was not only a wonderful opportunity to promote safety and well-being in our workplace but also a chance to bring our team together in a fun and engaging way.

Special thanks go to Stephanie Pinho, Environmental Health/ Safety Training Manager for creating these fantastic gift baskets! And a shout-out goes to Chelsea Crawley, Sr. Accountant for officiating our prize drawing!

The Vigon team is all about safety and savoring some seriously delicious meals together! John Ross, Stephanie Pinho, Nancy Delrue, Michele Larry and the rest of the Azelis SHEQ team has brightened our week with daily activities as part of OSHA's Safe + Sound Week. We couldn't miss the chance to combine good food, great company, and a celebration of our commitment to a safe and sound workplace. The lunch event catered by Moe's was a big hit with our team.

Vigon International, an Azelis Company, is celebrating OSHA Safe + Sound Week in style! John Ross, Senior Director of EH&S & Quality distributed new PPE to the Vigon team. Everyone loved the Azelis branded safety glasses and first aid kits.

Let's continue to live by our “14 Golden Rules for Safety, Health & Environment” to create a safe and sound environment for everyone. Remember, safety isn't just a priority – it's a value we hold close to our hearts.

It was a fantastic day to kick off the summer season in the Pocono Mountains. The Vigon team enjoyed a BBQ lunch outside in the gorgeous weather.

We included a little friendly competition with our co****le contest; teams were randomly drawn to add an extra dose of excitement. Congratulations to the winners, Mark Patney and Jim Ward. The crowd was full of laughter and there was plenty of friendly banter from spectators and players.
