Great weekend in San Diego for the Metal Treating Institute Fall meeting and graduation for the YES program, in which two valued employees, Tom Zimmerman and Mike Gaboury completed the program. We are excited to take what they have learned and propel ATP to the next level.

Furnaces North America 2016 is in the books and what a great show! The ATP team had wonderful discussions with many people from around the globe to discuss how ATP can assist them with Pyrometry services, compliance to aerospace standards and training. Look forward to working with all these clients in the near future.

Awesome day today. Two new exciting events for ATP. First the announcement of starting our West Coast Division in the Los Angeles area. Richard Rasmussen will be heading our new division. Second was starting our new laboratory in Bedford, OH. Dale Praznik will be taking the responsibility of the new laboratory manager and Corporate Quality Manager. Our lab capabilities will include the calibration of secondary standards and field test equipment in accordance with AMS-2750 specification.

Aerospace Testing & Pyrometry would like to announce that the company has successfully completed the initial accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:2005, “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories”. The scope of accreditation includes calibration of process instrumentation, temperature uniformity surveys and system accuracy testing in accordance with AMS-2750E.

Andrew Bassett, President of Aerospace Testing & Pyrometry, Inc., states, “It has been a priority to become accredited to ISO/IEC 17025. Writing and implementing new procedures, training and investment in equipment all contributed to successfully attaining ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. I am very proud of the dedication of the team in achieving this goal”.

Laboratory Accreditation Bureau, a division of A-S-B, conducted the three-day initial audit in December 2015, and after addresssing the corrective actions, Aerospace Testing & Pyrometry is accredited effective 4 March 2016.
