One of our last February projects was a kyak station for a local tourism company and a few log parking guards for a residence. We strive to utilize as much of our local timber here in our paradise. Products that we create are: peeled logs, chips of many species and grades, firewood wholesale and retail, saw logs for local mills, split cedar rails, kindling and whatever other products I can dream up. The moral of the story is: The more we can use our sustainable and locally harvested resource in the county the less we have to rely on mainland supplies, the less carbon footprint (in many ways a higher level of carbon sequester) and we get to enjoy a healthy forest regionally. Healthy forest sequester more carbon, resist bug infestation, pathogens, wind events, and catastrophic wildfire events.

Good evening,
A quick update on our operations for the near future. As with all small local companies right now, we are feeling the bite of the current Pandemic. We are making making personal and business changes to support the governing requests.
Personally we wont be catching up with you in the store or the gas station for the next few weeks, restricting our activities to the home front or the middle of the woods.
Business changes: We will not be taking new jobs, meeting on site with clients, performing view enhancement or any job that requires long contacts with our clients.
The next two weeks Harvey Logging, LLC will be focused on cleaning up several log landings for the firewood and wood products from them. It is important to get the firewood processed for this next winter as soon as we can, otherwise we will have a shortage of dry and burnable firewood for the winter. The landings being cleaned up before summer will dramatically reduce the wildfire risks.
We will be selling the firewood from these operations directly from the landing. To protect our clients we will schedule your delivery and request that you have payment ready (preferably in a ziplock near the delivery point) we will have a thank you from a distance. We are also able to take Venmo and are checking into Credit/Debit cards. Firewood is cut to 15-16" unless custom ordered

Green Doug Fir - $285,
Seasoned Doug Fir (Trees fell at least one year ago) - $295
Blocks (or rounds) - $200
Full Logs - $ 185
We are offering the Block and Log option as a way for our clients to save some money and the exercise and stress relief that is provided is a bonus. It is also a great P.E. class for the Kids.
We understand the financial stress that is being put on our friends and clients during this time We are also feeling it therefore cannot extend credit or take payments.

Enjoy and open your mind a little this evening. Watch it through and look at the resources and time put into the study. A very short summary of a large project. Cutting more trees does not mean we have to clear cut, but does mean that we have a responsibility to our future generations to manage our forests and support the industry that has the ability to do so. Go out and encourage a young person to get outside to study our forests and be a part of the solution.
