For AON's new office at Rogers Tower in Vancouver, Arcadis designed two floors around felt: baffles, ceiling clouds, and sculptural wall surfaces meant to keep open, glass-lined spaces warm and quiet instead of loud and cold. That wall panel was the centerpiece.

Our job was to keep the idea alive without building it the hard way. We re-engineered the effect using profile and line wall surfaces that reproduce the same grooved, two-tone read — same visual impact, a fraction of the weight and cost. Every finish was matched to the natural teak tone running through the rest of the project, and samples went out before a single panel was cut.

Next time you're at The Joseph in downtown Nashville, take a second look at the greenery. From the moment you pull up under the porte-cochère to the rooftop pool deck high above the city, it looks completely real — and that's exactly the point.

Gardens of Babylon designed it, we built it with UV- and fire-rated PermaLeaf® foliage, and it's made to stay lush in full rooftop sun and low lobby light alike, all year, with zero maintenance.

Most acoustic ceiling tiles do one job: soak up noise. Ours are built to do two.

At Stansbury Junior High School in Tooele County, Utah, our Soundcore® Folded Baffles line the reception, counseling, and corridor ceilings MHTN designed. The folded shape is what absorbs sound in these high-traffic rooms — and it's also what gives the ceiling its depth and warmth. No separate finish layer, no compromise between form and function.

Great apartment living isn't only about the unit.

It's the gym you actually want to use and the lounge you actually want to sit in. At The Rail Apartments in Bound Brook, NJ, CSI Creative helped build both, with acoustic ceilings designed to make each space feel right for what it's meant to do.

You don't expect hotel-lobby acoustics in a community college library.

Essex County College's Library & Learning Center sits in downtown Newark — a room that's full from open to close, every day, all year. Instead of an acoustic ceiling that just checks a spec box, we built one that quiets the room the way a well-designed hotel lobby or executive office would.

A restaurant that didn't want to choose between charm and quiet.

Acorn Cafe in Healdsburg, CA wanted a feature that could do both — real warmth and texture, and a room that stays comfortable even when it's full. CSI Creative delivered a felt screen woven through a run of slender posts.

CSI Creative installed a preserved moss wall at Cafe Conmigo, inside Pittsburgh International Airport's new terminal. It doesn't need watering or maintenance.

In the daily hustle and bustle of a busy international airport a flash of greenery can help disrupt the sense of urgency. Just one calm, permanent fixture in a place that never stops moving.

Your library just got a lot quieter — in the best way.

Nancy Carson Library's reading spaces now feature acoustic wall tile in three tones — Chinchilla, Grasshopper, and Serene — keeping the room calm and focused, all the way into the cozy Reading Nook.

If you're in the area, stop by and see (and hear) the difference for yourself!

Noise is always a constant in animal shelters. When you walk into most shelters one of the first things you might hear is animals in the back and in a space like the Cherokee County Animal Shelter, where that sound bounces off concrete and tile until the whole room is a cacophony of animal sounds.

That's the problem we were trying to alleviate for Cherokee County when our acoustical baffles were specified. Calmer rooms mean calmer animals. And calmer animals are easier to walk up to, easier to fall in love with, easier to bring home.

Good acoustics won't show up on anyone's adoption paperwork. But they're doing quiet work in the background every single day.
