Improved Machining Capability at CTP

Custom Tube Products is installing our 8th CNC machining center. This new Okuma lathe has twin spindles, live tooling, Y and C axis machining, and will be automatically fed with an LNS Servo bar feeder. We will be using this machine to increase our lights-out manufacturing capability for the production of complex tube fittings and components.

CTP Increases Automated Cutting Capacity

Custom Tube Products recently installed another automated sawing system designed to increase the cutting capacity of heavy-wall stainless steel tubing and bar. This system will allow us to meet the increasing demand for our tubular and machined components. This is our 3rd fully automated system and increases our total production saw count to 9 machines.

Administrative Assistant -- Manufacturing
Job Description
Custom Tube Products is looking for a motivated individual to provide support for Purchasing, Quality, and Accounting departments. Job duties for each department include the following:
Purchasing
• Assisting with receiving documentation
• Archival of receiving documents and records
• Inventory control
• Kitting of materials and components for manufacturing jobs
Quality
• Completing material product certification documentation
• Archival of manufacturing documentation
• Sending out vendor audits via email
• Sending out and processing customer-feedback surveys
• Technical writing
• Compiling and printing manufacturing job documentation
• Maintaining records
Accounting/General Office
• Matching bills with receivers
• Recording minutes for management meetings
• Provide additional phone coverage
Required Skills and Experience
• Minimum education -- High School Diploma
• 2 years minimum office or manufacturing experience
• Drug and To***co Free
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Must be able to type 45 words/minute minimum
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Intuit QuickBooks knowledge a plus
• Must have exceptional attitude
• Must be able to work quickly and accurately
Pay commensurate with experience.
