A huge thank you to Steve Aupperle for hosting such a fantastic Zenith Rudder Workshop in Michigan and bringing together both current and future builders and Calvin Heintz of Zenith for all the work and knowledge he brings to the table, even more specific the rudder building table. You both did a fabulous job at bringing this full circle.
Another big thank you to Midwest Flying Machines for providing lunch and for the incredible work they continue to do with builder assistance. It’s exciting to see so many builders already utilizing their services, along with several upcoming projects featuring Viking engines. We love seeing these partnerships and projects come together!
We also had a great opportunity to talk all things Viking, answer questions, and connect with builders during our presentation and Q&A.
A special thank you to Lavion Aero and Phil Cook for generously providing demo flights and sharing valuable insight into first-flight services, preparation, and everything that goes into getting an aircraft safely into the air.
Events like these are what make the experimental aviation community so special. The knowledge, collaboration, enthusiasm, and willingness to help one another are truly something to appreciate.
We’re grateful to be part of it and can’t wait to see more of these aircraft take flight!
