We’re human. We’re not perfect. Sometimes we goof… and sometimes we REALLY goof. 😂

This one was definitely a big goof, and I have a feeling the guy responsible is going to hear about it from the crew for a LONG time. 😂

But here’s something I’m proud of about our team: when a mistake happens, we don’t make excuses—we spring into action and make it right.

As soon as I found out, I grabbed the tools and materials I needed and headed straight to the job.

I removed the pocket-door handle, repaired the damaged area with wood Bondo, shaped and sanded everything back smooth, then primed and painted it.

By the time we were finished, you’d never know it happened.

Mistakes happen in construction. What separates a good contractor from the rest isn’t pretending they never happen—it’s how quickly you take responsibility, find a solution, and make things right for your customer.

That’s the kind of crew we strive to be at The Handy Vet Roofing & Construction Co. 🔨🇺🇸

See a problem. Own it. Fix it. Make it right.

Opened up this floor plan by removing the load-bearing wall and installing an LVL beam within the ceiling to properly carry the roof load—creating a much larger, open living space.

Bathroom remodel progress! 🔨

We’re tackling the whole bathroom, but the shower has been hogging all the attention so far. Lol!

We also got the mirrored, double pocket doors installed on the closet.

This one is coming along nicely!
