Please take a look at the last project of 2024 where I transformed an unwanted closet into an elegant yet functional mudroom for the client. Armed with some customer supplied Pinterest inspiration, I set out on what might be my favorite project to date.

Bench is constructed from (5) 5/4" red oak boards which are edge glued with biscuits. Two corner accents are constructed from the off cuts. All of the red oak was finished with a Warm Chestnut wiping stain and coated with 5 coats of Minwax polyurethane, sanded to 1200 grit between coats The balance of the materials are cabinet grade poplar plywood and poplar boards, all finished with Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel in satin black.

This was a structural repair we did with Locher Construction LLC to a horse barn for a very good customer. Metal siding to be installed at a later date. The roof was jacked up around 4", old posts removed, and new posts installed.
