REALTORS,
I’d like to emphasize just how crucial feedback from showings is, especially from the perspective of the Seller. Often, the prevailing assumption is that if there’s no follow-up after a showing, it means either the buyer wasn’t interested or you’ll hear back only if there are questions or an offer. However, when communication stops there, Sellers are left in the dark, wondering what aspects of the home may have missed the mark for potential buyers.
For Builders, detailed feedback is invaluable, as it offers insight into what prospective buyers appreciate—whether it’s an extra bedroom, a spacious loft, a larger family room, or expanded outdoor living space. This information isn’t just useful for the current listing; it shapes future home designs and ensures new builds are tailored to buyer preferences. Without constructive feedback, we risk overlooking key features that could make our homes more appealing and marketable.
So, I encourage you to take a few moments after each showing to share specific observations with the Seller’s Agent. This simple step can set off a chain of positive outcomes, benefiting Sellers, Builders, and ultimately, future buyers.
Thank you for your attention and collaboration.
