F5 Storm Shelters Tulsa

F5 Storm Shelters Tulsa An Oklahoma based company that provides the most advanced storm shelter technology available to protect Oklahoma families when bad weather strikes.

We are a local Oklahoma company with showrooms in both OKC and Tulsa. It can be a scary experience when tornadoes are in your area, especially for those who have no place to take refuge. We believe that every home in tornado alley should be equipped with a shelter, so no one has to rely on chance or hope. We want every person to have the ability to survive a tornado and not just any tornado, but a

n F5/EF5. An F5 tornado has the ability to level homes completely, leaving mere slabs and rubble in their path. F5 tornadoes have the ability to exceed 300 mph wind speeds. In fact, the May 3rd tornado of 1999 near Moore, OK, had wind speeds that measured over 301 mph, wherein, this tornadic event caused over 50 people to lose their lives. Tornadoes are survivable events if you have a proper place to go. Our shelters offer protection from the strongest of tornadoes to ensure your safety. This is more than selling and installing shelters, though. We honestly care for people and that’s why we started our business and we think it shows. Of course we use the highest grade 10 gauge steel and ¼ inch thick door to ensure your safety. Our 8 ton come along jack ensures you will have the strength to remove debris that is atop your shelter. Also, we register your shelter and have it GPS located, so people will know to check on you. Additionally, we include a Survival Bucket that gives you some basic supplies to weather the storm, which includes: glow sticks, flashlight, bottled water, toilet paper and a crank style weather radio all in a 5 gallon versatile bucket, so you know when it’s clear to come out. When the unimaginable strikes, you will be able to take comfort knowing you, your family and even your pets are out of harm’s way. All major credit cards are accepted on our website and special financing is available through some of the metro area's most trusted lending institutions.

In 2015, I realized that we had been pushing it long enough without a storm shelter at Wild Heart and when I reached out for help, F5 Storm Shelters showed up and fully sponsored one for us! This photo is from the day they installed it. My heart was so full knowing our crew would be safe from then on. They no longer hesitated coming to care for all the spring orphans on stormy days. :D

Since then we have been in that shelter more times than I can count, and as our crew has grown, it is obvious we need another one.

After this week and the damage we have seen while helping three near and dear to us "barely missed the house" families that are at either end of the path and witnessing the damage on those properties and the devastation of the neighbors surrounding them, I have a newfound appreciation for our storm shelter and I will be buying our second one from F5.

And "Rain or Shine Roofing" was out in some of the worst areas yesterday patching roofs for people at no charge and helped us with my BFF Cindy's house in Carefree Valley and went on to help some of the neighbors who's homes are salvageable. My friend Chad works for them and he is all about helping.

AND a Tulsa Firefighter showed up and cut up monster trees for Cindy! I cried, she cried. It was the one job we couldn't solve, so THANK YOU to our hero!!!

There are a LOT of people and businesses in our community doing the same. That is what we do as friends, family and a community, but I wanted to give a few businesses who stepped up recognition. Feel free to post links and any resources available in the comments, and plug any businesses who are helping victims.

AND the Claremore Animal Shelter is receiving a deluge of dog and cat food from our followers. They also let me know also that there are people in the community who are struggling to feed their pets as so many businesses have been shut down due to power outages, (no work= no pay) and people out of their homes with extra expenses, etc. We told them it was fine to share any surplus with those in need to feed their pets, that our followers who shopped would be fine with it. If I know you people like I think I do, you would be GREAT with a pet food pantry once the shelter is overloaded. (and my SOS posts have a tendency to do that) I thought so. ;) THANK YOU!

Anyway, I am GRATEFUL this morning to all who are helping! Dan and I are absolutely doing all we can to help as many as possible and still keep every animal at Wild Heart spoiled with care. We are exhausted, but helping is what we love to do most of all. We are just so grateful for the lives spared and Wild Heart untouched.

Thank you to those who have showed up when I called. YOU are my heroes! Thank you for helping me pay it forward!

Annette

11 hours and 600 miles. One single storm and it’s horrific path. This is a stitched together from last night. Obviously, there were many other supercells but this one stood out the most.

While a tornado wasn’t on the ground the whole time, this one single storm produced many. Some very intense.

Oklahoma: As of right now, we're standing at 22 tornadoes across the state last week. However, these numbers are not final. If it stays at 22 tornado reports, this month would go down as the 2nd most active October on record. The most active October we've ever had came in 1998 when we had 28 tornado reports.

This would be during the daytime hours for all of Eastern Oklahoma.

New year, same weather.

UPDATED tornado threat map for Friday afternoon and overnight continues to be shifted a bit west even closer to the I-35 corridor, with the western edge right along the forecast western gradient of the robust LLJ axis at around 21z, when rapid supercell initiation is expected to begin - likely just east of OKC to DFW.

Threat for strong tornadoes is legitimate given 0-1 km shear near 40 knots especially across East Texas into southeastern OK Friday late afternoon and evening and eventually into central AR down through LA overnight. Pre-squall line supercells will likely have continued strong tornado threat even approaching the Lower MS River Valley by early morning Saturday.
