This John Deere 2210 is ready to tear into spring with a fresh set of baskets.

Mark called because his John Deere flatbar baskets were not as aggressive as he wanted. So we set Mark up with our most aggressive basket. A serrated flatbar. The bars on these are angled about 15 degrees so that they scoop the soil and throw some of it. This helps level and fluff the seedbed.

Here's your reminder to check out the baskets on your fall tillage equipment. We've got a few skids of baskets going out today.

Case 870/875 ripper baskets. 4' and 6' baskets common for 9 and 11 shank units. All 5/16" AR400 on the blades here. Built tougher than OEM!

John Deere 2730 ripper baskets. For these we are using 3/8" hardox 500 steel plate. This is a tough wear plate used in the mining industry and will far outlast the OEM "knife edge" baskets.

Thank you to everyone who stopped at our booth this week. We had a lot of good conversations from customers who have been using our replacement rolling baskets as well as farmers who are interested in repairing or upgrading what they have now.

This was our first year at Agro Expo in St. John's. With all the positive interactions and getting to meet many people in the industry, it was well worth the time and we are sure to be back next year!

We recently shipped to Texas a set of our HD combo baskets for a Landoll 7431 VT. They have the sharp flatbar edge to chop and cut residue and clods combined with a round bar that strengthens the flatbar so that you won't get stones in your baskets or bend the flatbars after a few hundred acres.

As we wake up this morning, we remember that freedom comes at a cost.

Spring is off to a wet start in Central Michigan! Not great if you like to get out and get a jump on tillage and fertilizer applications.

If you're like us, expecting a narrow and rushed spring planting window, don't wait to fix up your rolling Harrows. This J and M basket was worked over and patched up to get through last season. It made it though but I've seen a lot of welded on baskets that didn't make it as long as this one did. Something about being welded up they just seem to crack and break more.
