🐝✨ SHOUTOUT TO THE CLEANING BEE! ✨🐝

I have to give a HUGE shoutout to The Cleaning Bee! Every single time they come clean my shop, they do an AMAZING job! 🙌

And can we talk about these floors?! 😍 The floors at our indoor range have NEVER looked this good! With all the foot traffic we get, keeping them clean is no easy task, but somehow they have them looking brand new every time!

One of the things I appreciate most is how reliable and dependable they are. They show up, get the job done, and I know I can count on everything being cleaned right. That means a lot when you’re running a business and already have a million other things to worry about!

🔥STX Archery & Outdoors Field Staff Highlight🔥

Today we’re talking about Mr. Jay Wimberly!

We’ve know Jay since STX was in Inez under the previous ownership. Once we gained Jay’s trust he hasn’t let another shop touch his equipment. Jay currently resides in Inez, Tx and shoots under the STX Brand with Pride and Passion! Jay was a former 1996 Olympic Finalist shooting an Olympic Recurve and won The Vegas Shoot in 1994 under the Olympic Recurve Class. Jay knows what it takes to perform in the big moments and he’s no stranger to the game.

He’s married to Tessa Wimberly and they have two awesome kids, Karston and Sawyer. Jay has supported STX for years and we’re ecstatic he’s joined our Field Staff to continue supporting us in whatever ways he can.

This man is a stone cold lights out shot with a bow. He hits what he’s aiming at and he does it with passion with the company of his family and friends. Bowhunting presents a challenge that trumps r***e hunting in every way and Jay is all for it!

🔥STX Archery & Outdoors Field Staff Highlight🔥

Field Staff Hunter - Jacob Dawdy

Jacob currently shoots and hunts under the STX brand out of Victoria, Tx. Jacob is a big hog and turkey hunter but above all else, a devoted husband, father, and family man. He’s experienced some serious success over the last year on the 3-D course and inside hunting woods, as well as some awesome strides on the indoor side. Currently hunting with a Mathews Lift and shooting a Darton Sequel 35 ST2 for Indoors, Jacob has the full arsenal at his disposal and stays committed to the craft.

Jacob is Married to his Wife Chelsea Dawdy. They have 2 kick ass sons, Lawson and Laken. They’ve been an integral part of STX success and growth and we’re looking forward to the upcoming hunting season!

🔥Elk Season is kicking off. Followed by Deer Season. Then Turkeys! Jacob is about to be busy!

🥇 Allison battled her way to 1st place, earning her SECOND BACK-TO-BACK WIN in the Cubs Division! She’s on a roll! 🔥

🥇 Korbin took the Youth Open Division, putting up some NEXT-LEVEL SCORES tonight! 🎯💪

🥇 Laira absolutely DOMINATED the shoot-offs, taking home 1st place in the Bowhunter Division! 🔥🏹

🔥 Live Action in the field! 🔥

You want some good attractants? Let us tell you about these. No sales tactics. Just real and raw knowledge.

Lucky Dust smells good and it works. Just like the “Apple Crush or Hog Wild”. It has a sweet aroma that attracts animals to the site. It’s very simple and strait forward. Open the package. Sprinkle on the ground. And watch em come.

Bio-Rack is a mineral grain. Rather than a “mineral block” , Bio Rack is essentially the same thing just in a powder form. Pour it in a pile on the ground to begin working a “mineral site” and then keep em coming to it.

AntlerEdge is a 22% Protein Grain Mixture that works really well mixed in a feeder with the corn. It doesn’t clog the feeders and it also has a smell good attractant mixed in so when your feeder spins, this stuff disburses with it.

We’ve used this stuff religiously. Everytime we fill feeders or go around the hunting areas, we have this stuff handy. Without a doubt, it works. Does it work better than others? Well that’s difficult to say because truly yes some attractants work better than others. But we’re not here to bash any brand. We’re telling you about these 3 as a SYSTEM. Together, they attract animals. Period. The proof is in the pictures.

Topic of the Day!

For reference the arrow is a 480 grain FMJ MAXX traveling at 264 fps.

Clearly showing you that we don’t need to chase speed with a light arrow as much as we think we do.

KE, Momentum, FOC all play a factor. Not just speed.

Don’t be confused by others that sell products and don’t use em. Thats not us. Thats not STX.

We hit a double whammy with not 1, but 2 Hill Country Sows!

The Darton Tri-Techs 33/31 were put to the test. We built these bows on Sunday evening and shot these pigs on Monday evening…..what does that mean?

It means you can trust STX to get it right for you. You don’t need to have months and weeks and days behind a bow to be successful (although you should definitely learn your equipment by putting in the time). It means that a knowledgeable and well experienced bow shop can take a bow off the rack for you, build it, and hand you the keys and all you have to do is pull the trigger.
