Let us take a moment today for prayer, reflection and to remember while we are working, running around town buying things, celebrating, getting ready for our busy weekend that Jesus was being harshly interrogated, beaten, spit on, mocked, brutally whipped, convicted and made to carry his cross to his own crucifixion. He was nailed by his hands and feet to the cross and left to hang for hours before he died. God the father gave his son, and the son freely gave his life so that we might live. What a unique, unconditional love he has for us! I will be forever grateful for his love and the sacrifices he made so I can live!
