Custom Containers 915, out of El Paso, does it again building homes for the homeless out of shipping containers. We are working on several projects for California, Oregon and Arizona.
We just finished our second project in Newark NJ.

Introducing Newark Hope Village, innovative design to provide shelter for the people living in and around Penn Station, Newark.

These are pictures from the project we completed in March for the city of Newark, NJ. We completed these units to fully code compliant with a third-party inspection agency called ICC-NTA.
This village was called "Hope Village" and got 20 homeless people off of the street with 4 bedroom units in each 40' STD shipping container. It has 4 full bathrooms, 1 being fully ADA compliant and 1 20' admin unit.

This project was in response to a customer's need for immediate, affordable multi-unit housing in a climate that experiences extreme weather. Custom Containers 915 provided multiple units of varying design: from up to 6 unit private sleeping quarters per container to duplex bedrooms with en suite baths, as well as separate community kitchens and bathrooms. The project was completed, with the delivery to the Custom Containers in three weeks.
