If you need a Necropsy done on a Reptile, this is a great lab with good people. ***IMPORTANT*** Make sure you NEVER freeze the animal carcass before sending out as it will make some Bacterial and Viral identifications impossible. Put your animal in a refrigerator and send it with Dry ice.

*** Feeder Update*** We have acquired 2 new clean genetic lines of feeder rats in Virginia. We will be stopping in South Carolina on our way back to TX and picking up 2 more genetic lines before heading back to El Paso. This means that we will have a total of 6 COMPLETELY UNRELATED genetic lines of rats that we will be breeding for our animals. This should somewhat eliminate the stargazing, crooked spine, 3 legged, 4 eyed twin tailed specimens that come from dozens of generations of inbreeding even in lab specimens.

Currently we are breeding for research and live feeders. In the very near future we will be breeding for select sales of genetically clean and healthy feeders for the El Paso market and surrounding areas. If you are looking for a cheap run of the mill mouse or rat, this is not for you. They will not be cheap, but a better quality feeder you will not find.

Also, once our supply "fattens up" a bit, we will be holding weekly drawings for Feeder Rats and Feeder Dubias. More info to come after the Christmas Holidays. Who doesn't like FREE stuff right??

That being said, may everyone have a Merry Christmas, Joyous Holidays and a Happy New Year. Be safe, take your time with your animals and enjoy your time with family.

OK, please read this article and learn from it. DO NOT ignore a bite. It might be a dry bite, it might not. Do you feel like playing Russian roulette with your life today? If you even THINK you got bit by a venomous animal, seek help RIGHT NOW if not sooner! Also tell someone IMMEDIATELY what happened and which animal it was. If you become unconscious, you will not want CROFAB for a Naja bite because the ER Doc doesn't know any better. Please take it seriously folks. I don't want to read about you in the Obituaries.

Nathan Layton, 28, from Wing, Buckinghamshire, pictured with his girlfriend Laura Woolley, was bitten after the snake was found at his South African college.
