Ibiden Circuits of America (formerly) IBIDEN Circuits of America Corp. It was dissolved as a manufacturing site as of September 2008. Ibiden started manufacturing PWBs for mobile devices in 1992.

They have completely withdrawn from the production of printed circuits in the USA with this dissolution.

General information

Products : Laser-formed vias enable production of high-layer count printed wiring boards (PWBs) with extremely dense patterns and highly reliable PWB required for communication infrastructure equipment such as routers, switches, cell phone base stations, etc. The recent miniaturization of electronic equipment such as mobile phones demands ever smaller via holes. To this end, IBIDEN Circuits of America Corp. offered laser via holes PWB using glass epoxy resin (FR-4). Customers: Motorola Singapore, Sony Ericsson Sweden, Motorola Schaumburg, Medtronics, among many others. IBIDEN Circuits of America Corp., a subsidiary of Ibiden Co.,Ltd., Japan, www.ibiden.com, was dissolved as a manufacturing site in North America as of September 2008. They have completely withdrawn from the production of printed circuits in the USA with this dissolution.
