What does partnership look like when you make it tangible?

For this collaboration we teamed up with SendCutSend to create something that stands for manufacturing companies working together.

Each logo represents a different relationship, capability and piece of the manufacturing community we work alongside each day. SendCutSend helped us bring the concept together and turn it into something that tells the story of great brands building together.

There’s something fitting about using Vargus tooling to put the finishing touches on Shaviv deburring handles.

For this project, Vargus comes full circle.

Shaviv, part of Vargus, is built around a simple but essential part of manufacturing. Their hand-deburring solutions help manufacturers take care of the edges, burrs and details that separate a finished from an unfinished part.

Vargus tooling was intentionally chosen to be apart of the machining process to engrave each handle. It’s a great example of the range of tooling and manufacturing expertise Vargus brings to the table, visible through a single finished piece.

But why are we even engraving them? That’s where this collaboration project gets interesting. There’s still something largely missing from the story...

At first glance, this setup might seem unconventional.

There's a reason behind every engineering decision.

Precision begins long before the tool touches the material. In machining, the way that a part is held is just as important as how it's cut which is why we partnered with Schunk USA to make this project possible.

For this upcoming IMTS demonstration, the workholding strategy is a critical part of the process, providing the stability and repeatability needed to perform exactly as intended.
