Project Update: FM Construction is working on a 5,000-square-foot build out at Airway Oxygen Inc., 1126 E. Napier Avenue in Benton Harbor, Mich. Airway Oxygen is a community-based, home medical equipment supplier. Our team is handling the framing, drywall, finishing, doors, hardware and ceilings on the project. Meet Katie Bradshaw. Katie joined FM Construction as its Senior Accountant in January 2022. She is responsible for many accounting tasks including overseeing all of accounts receivable and accounts payable, assisting in managing tax compliance requirements, performing bank reconciliations and handling payroll.

A life-long resident of Northern Indiana, after graduating from Westview Jr-Sr High School in Topeka, Ind., Katie earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in business with a major in accounting from Indiana University, South Bend. Before coming to The Tiedemann Group, Katie worked in accounting roles at Concord Community Schools in Elkhart, and at Rainbow Learning Ministry and Farmer’s State Bank in Shipshewana.

Currently a resident of Goshen, Katie is married to James and has four children: Lucas, Owen, Angie and Kaylynn. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family watching movies or playing games, taking the kids to sporting events or watching them in band. She also enjoys crafting and crocheting.

FM Construction in Elkhart, Indiana, is looking for highly motivated full-time Commercial Carpenters. At least one year of experience is required, preferably in commercial construction. Candidates should also have transportation to job sites.

Qualifications for Carpenters:
• Able to read a tape measure
• One year of experience
• Transportation to job sites
• Having own hand tools is a plus

Additional Experience helpful in:
• Steel Stud Framing
• Finish Carpentry
