You may have the correct amount of soffit vents. But is the soffit cut large enough behind the vents? This house had the correct amount of vents, but at least a 50% reduction in intake due to the holes not being cut large enough!

Most homes leak a surprising amount of air through the rim joist area — especially around floor systems, band boards, and penetrations like this one.

Closed cell spray foam is the best solution for rim joists. It doesn’t just insulate — it air seals at the same time. 💨❌

🐍 “Why are there SNAKES in my attic?!”
